Unreleased Title

This unreleased title used fantasy and adventure themes, so I matched that with a tactile, textured UI style focused on book, paper, and paint imagery. I organized the UI elements by whether they were interactable or not - involving player selection/choice or providing information. Interactable elements were designed as paper elements: things the players would be used to touching or manipulating, whereas non-interactable and information-focused elements used a paint stroke or ink texture to imply their more static nature.

As the title was never released, all screenshots are from mockups and development demos

The game went through many changes and iterations through development. These show a previous exploration of style as shown through the HUD and gameplay elements mocked up over screenshots for use in marketing.


Totally Reliable Delivery Service

As the sole UX/UI designer and artist I was responsible for the complete overhaul of the Totally Reliable Delivery Service I worked closely with the art and engineering teams to create functional and intuitive UI that reflected and reinforced the playful chaos of the game’s theme and gameplay. After designing a new flow map of the game’s menus and UI, I created a visual style centered around the cardboard, paper, and tape central to the delivery driver theme. I matched the saturated and colorful graphics and emphasized the silly chaos of the ‘totally reliable’ game by making the textures appear worn or haphazardly applied - the cardboard is wrinkled and stained, the tape is crooked and messy, and the paper is uneven with bent corners.

Hallow Realm

Concepts and paint over for proposed UI designs and informational elements for MassVR's Hallow Realm Hunter characters, Icon development and UI design for the game's objective mode, and mask UI interface for the Hunter character.
